Family holidays

In this day and age of playstations and endless after school activities, holidays are the perfect opportunity to spend time together as a family.

Torsa House is perfect for families of all ages with a generous sized sitting room, conservatory and kitchen plus large walled garden. Without the added distraction of a television there will be more time to enjoy the island, with endless scope for walks, picnics, treasure hunts, rock-pooling, beach-combing and star gazing. The house has a CD player, plus a selection of games and books suitable for all ages.

If you do fancy venturing onto the mainland there are many attractions within an hours drive, including the Rare Breeds Farm Park, Sea Life Centre and Seal Sanctuary, swimming pool, and shopping in Oban.

Hopefully most of your time though can be spent exploring the nearby area on foot and by boat. In the immediate area of Torsa there are a number of bays and small islands that are perfect for exploring. If you have wetsuits for children then do bring them as there are safe bathing areas to be enjoyed.
