extra facilities:

Some caravans have additional facilities:

  • Heated bedrooms in caravans 1 and 2.

  • Double glazing in caravans 4 and 5.

bike hire:

  • adult bikes - mens and ladies frames suitable for teenagers up to adults.
  • childrens bikes - a variety of sizes to suit children from approximately 7 upwards, as long as the child is fairly competent and has some road experience.
  • tag-along bikes - these half bikes are securely attached behind an adult bike, offering extra balance and power to the child. They are excellent for children that can ride with stabilisers or without, but that are not quite steady or strong enough to have their own bike. Depending on size they roughly suit five year olds up to 7 year olds.
  • trailer - we also have a two seater trailer which can be used for young children and babies (as long as they can sit unsupported). The trailer can also be used to transport a small to medium sized dog!
  • We provide helmets and insist that children wear them, and strongly recommend that adults also wear them.
  • We also provide a map and guide to the island which, along with the interpretive panels that are located around the island, give an interesting insight to the island, its history and wildlife.
